My Approach as a Counsellor. Counselling Support for Anxiety, Overwhelm and Life's Challenges. If you are looking for counselling support in the UK, you may already feel stuck, overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Counselling offers a space where you can slow busy brains and unravel what is happening in your life, whether that's relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm or anxiety, or simply feeling like you are not coping in the way you used to.
I offer counselling support for young people aged 11+ and adults across the UK, both online and in-person near Coventry, Warwickshire.
What is counselling Support? Counselling support is a way of talking through your thoughts, feelings and experiences with a trained professional, in a safe and confidential space. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but I do use counselling to:- - help you understand yourself more clearly by exploring your patterns of relating. - give you space to explore difficult emotions. - work through challenges at your own pace. - discover ways forward that feel right for you.
Many people come to counselling when things feel too much - but you do not have to be in crisis to benefit from counselling support.
What can counselling support help with? People seek counselling for many different reasons. You may be experiencing:- - anxiety or constant overthinking. - feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. - low mood or lack of motivation. - relationship or family difficulties. - identity questions or life transitions. - feeling "stuck" or unsure what's wrong. You don't need to have the "right words" to begin. We will be able to find those words together.
Neurodivergent Counselling Support (Autism & ADHD) I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent adolescents and adults, due to my own lived experience. This includes those who are autistic, ADHD or exploring whether this may apply to them. Counselling can support because my approach is flexible and adapted to you; there is no expectation to fit in.
A calm, supportive space to talk. My approach is warm, relational and non-judgmental. This means:- - you won't be rushed. - you won't be judged - you don't need to have everything figured out. Counselling support is about having space to be heard, understood and supported as you work through things in your own way.
Starting Counselling Support Taking the first step can feel difficult - but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. You are very welcome to get in touch to see if it feels the right fit for you.
